Message from the candidate of Parti Bumi Kenyalang to the voters of P.208 Sarikei

Dear voters of Sarikei and Meradong,

Hello everyone!

I am one of the candidates of Malaysia’s 14th General Election representing Parti Bumi Kenyalang to contest the parliamentary seat of P.2018 Sarikei. I thanked Parti Bumi Kenyalang for the trust and delegation given to me to contest the seat. Since the founding of the party in 2013, for the first time in the history of the party, I represent the party to participate in the election. This is a difficult task and mission.

In order to achieve the goals of the formation of Parti Bumi Kenyalang, I feel greatly honoured to be given the opportunity to fight for the party and for the ultimate goal of the people of Sarawak.

Parti Bumi Kenyalang is a political party formed with the struggle to safeguard and defend the rights and interests of the people of Sarawak, ‘The Land of The Hornbills’ and to restore, as well as to defend the sovereignty and status of the State of Sarawak. This is also the most lofty direction of the struggle of Parti Bumi Kenyalang.

Ladies and gentlemen, I resigned from a highly-paid civil service post in 2011 and resolutely joined politics and has been serving as a full-time political worker for eight years. In the field of political work, it is undeniable that I have experienced many ups and downs, but my determination and original intention to serve the country, society, and the people has never been weakened. In order to enable the State of Sarawak and the people of Sarawak to move towards a better future, I am steadfast to adhere to my ideals and beliefs and continue my struggle through the new platform of Parti Bumi Kenyalang. Although I am an ordinary citizen and do not have any social status or political power, I have never used political platform for personal gains, either material or power. I am always ready to make sacrifices for my party and for Sarawak. I am willing to serve for Sarawak and the people of Sarawak without regrets. Challenges and frustrations will never weaken my resolve to struggle for the interests and the well-being of the people of Sarawak!

Ladies and Gentlemen, if you give me strong support and I am successfully elected as the Member of Parliament representing the people of this constituency in this election, I hereby sincerely make the following promises:
(i) Serve as a full-time as the people’s representative and will make every effort to provide the most efficient services for the constituency.
(ii) Appointment of at least 3 special assistants to improve the efficiency of serving the people in this constituency.
(iii) To set up Parliamentary Constituency Education Fund in Sarikei to assist the children of poor families so that they have access to quality education as any other children.
(iv) To establish a special fund for the disabled and mentally handicapped in the Parliamentary Constituency of Sarikei to improve their standard of living.
(v) To establish a special aid fund for single-parent families and dependent elderlies in the Parliamentary Constituency of Sarikei to raise their standard of living and to take care of the quality of their life.
(vi) To establish an education fund for the orphans in the Sarikei Parliamentary Constituency, to assist them to complete at least secondary education.
(vii) To establish legal litigation fund in in the Parliamentary Constituency of Sarikei to assist victims of unfair criminal and civil lawsuits.
(viii) Make every effort to bring the voice of the people of Sarawak especially regarding the right to self-determination into the Malaysian Parliament, and to fight for the restoration of the status and sovereignty of the state of Sarawak.
(ix) I will try my best to fight in the Parliament for the restoration of the rights and interests that Sarawak deserves in accordance with the 1963 Malaysian Agreement.
(x) I will do my best to speak out the demands and needs of the people in my constituency, fight for more infrastructure development and raise the standard of living of the people in my constituency.
